The neck is basically fine, but the distance of the holes to the outer edge of the head plate is too small, so that the strings are not guided straight over the saddle to the tuners. But I have not yet mounted the neck and therefore cannot yet judge whether this will be a problem in practice!
Thanks for the honest feedback, and for saying upfront that the neck isn't mounted yet — that's fair of you. The slight sideways run from the nut to the tuners is normal on this headstock and within spec, so it shouldn't cause you any trouble once it's strung up. Do let us know how it plays after the build — we'd like to hear.
